One of my semi-regular favorites
Michael's is perhaps one of Waukesha's better held secrets for tasty Italian cuisine at a reasonable price. The atmosphere is clean and comfortable (unless that screaming monster-child from the last time we were there is there again), their is a wide-selection of wine/drinks (they have a seperate, full bar) and dinner, and the price is reasonable. Prices are the same you would spend at Olive Garden, but certainly the food is worth it at Michael's. Service is reasonably quick, but better if you eat at non-peak times (that's me!). You'll have better luck of eating in a more relaxed (read: no screaming monsters) if you eat dinner later, too.
My favorite is an appetizer of baked ravioli and gnocci (before they changed the recipe -- it no longer includes ham and isn't as tasty) for dinner. The baked ravioli is knock-out wonderful, though.
If you ever find yourself in Waukesha county (and as to be expected, can't quite find your way out)... head to Michael's, and then give me a call. ;}
